Traffic Stop in Whitley County Leads to Meth Related Arrest

CHURUBUSO, IN - A Whitley County woman and a Noble County man were arrested this morning after the van they were driving in was stopped for a traffic violation and precursors for a meth lab were discovered inside of it. 

At approximately 8:15 am, Senior Trooper Roy Stuckey observed a blue 2000 Dodge Caravan traveling southbound on US 33 north of County Road 550 N as it was passing another vehicle in a no passing zone.  As Stuckey turned around, the van turned onto 550 N and into a private driveway in the 8000 E block of that road.

PERU, IN - On April 20, 2009, a two month long drug investigation dubbed “Operation Spring Cleaning” by Indiana State Police Trooper Josh Maller and Miami County Sheriff Sergeant Mike Rogers has resulted in the arrests of seven Peru, IN residents to face 23 drug related charges.

Traffic Stop Leads to Chemicals for Methamphetamine

 

CONNERSVILLE, IN - On February 25, 2009, K9 Trooper Barry Bischoff was working traffic just south of the Connersville Post on State Road One around 6:10 p.m. when he passed a red Honda two door.  As the vehicle passed Bischoff's he recognized the driver as a subject known to him to be suspended.  He stopped the vehicle on county road 425 south just west of State Road One.

Man Arrested on Multiple Charges Related to Meth

 

WESTPORT, IN -  On the afternoon of February 25, 2009, Master Trooper Jim Ponsler was assisting the Decatur County Corrections Director with warrant services.  While he was assisting with the detail, he received information from one of the arrestees that there was an operating methamphetamine lab at 9998 S CR800W near Westport.

Indiana State Police Dismantled 1,059 Meth Labs in 2008

 

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Methamphetamine (crank or speed as it is often called on the street) is an illegal and highly addictive central nervous system stimulant which can cause heart attacks, strokes, brain damage, and even death. Its users become physically and psychologically dependent on the drug.  A person under the influence of meth can become paranoid, delusional, and aggressive. This makes the user and the drug a danger to all communities.

Alert Off Duty Trooper Arrests Two in Mobile Meth Lab

 

PERU, IN - On February 5, 2009, Indiana State Trooper T.J. Zeiser arrested Chad J. Hann, 34, and his girlfriend Breann N. Wade, 19, both of Peru, IN, after allegedly finding a mobile methamphetamine lab in Wade’s Ford Probe. Both face a Class B felony charge related to the manufacturing of methamphetamine. Wade was also charged with a class D felony for maintaining a common nuisance. Both are incarcerated in the Miami County Jail with a surety bond of $25,000.

State Police Arrest Tennessee Man for Possessing Meth and Weapons

 

GIBSON COUNTY, IN - Sunday afternoon, September 7, Detective Loren Brooks was assisting the Posey County Sheriff's Department after Johnie Ray Butts, 43, of Gibson County, was found dead in a residence located at 12900 Campbell Road near Griffin early Saturday morning.
