Indiana Troopers Serve Communities Off Duty

INDIANA - Three area local organizations are purchasing needed items thanks to the generosity of the Indiana State Police Alliance (ISPA) and the troopers that the organization represents. The Fulton Athletic League, the Peru Little League, and the Peru High School varsity girl’s basketball team have been provided grant money to purchase needed equipment and uniforms.

Operation Spring Cleaning Results in Seven Arrests

 

PERU, IN - On April 20, 2009, a two month long drug investigation dubbed “Operation Spring Cleaning” by Indiana State Police Trooper Josh Maller and Miami County Sheriff Sergeant Mike Rogers has resulted in the arrests of seven Peru, IN residents to face 23 drug related charges.

Two Juveniles Arrested After Fleeing Trooper in Stolen Car

 

KOKOMO, IN -  On Sunday, January 25, 2009, at approximately 2:51 a.m., Indiana State Trooper Josh Maller attempted to stop a 2002 Ford Mustang for an equipment violation on Markland Ave. west of U.S. 31 in Kokomo. When Trooper Maller activated his emergency lights the Ford accelerated refusing to stop.
