Group III presentations Jan. 14, at 9 a.m. at Fort Wayne District building

FORT WAYNE, IN - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces that a public meeting will be held to receive input on applications from cities applying for federal funding. The meeting will be held on Thursday, Jan. 14, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., in the Fort Wayne District Administration Building, 5333 Hatfield Road, Fort Wayne.

Repairs to be made to Indiana Southern Railroad crossing

PETERSBURG, IN - The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that State Road 57 (S.R. 57) will be closing in Petersburg. 

Working in conjunction with Indiana Southern Railroad officials, INDOT will be closing S.R. 57 from the junction of State Road 56 (S.R. 56) in Petersburg to the junction of State Road 64 (S.R. 64) in Oakland City.  Indiana Southern Railroad will be rebuilding their crossing, at the S.R. 56 Junction. 

INDOT urges both drivers and riders to use extreme caution this summer

VINCENNES, Ind. -- Warm May weather means motorcycle riders across the Hoosier state are dusting off their bikes, donning their helmets and heading out on Indiana highways.  The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is urging all Indiana drivers to use extreme caution this spring and summer as motorcycles take to the road.  With the cooperation and awareness of all motorists, Indiana can make this riding season safe for everyone.
 

Closures scheduled for 5/5 during daylight hours

JASPER COUNTY, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces the ramps between State Road 10 (S.R. 10) and northbound I-65 will be closed during daylight hours May 5 during resurface construction. The ramp from I-65 north to S.R. 10 will be closed in the morning and the ramp from S.R. 10 to I-65 north will be closed in the afternoon.

Closure to begin Monday through the end of the month

NEWBURGH, IN - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is announcing that on Monday, April 20, Lincoln Avenue on the north side of State Road 66 (S.R. 66) will close.  As work continues on the Major Moves project in Newburgh, crews will need to close Lincoln Avenue.
