Redkey Trooper’s Patrol Car Struck on I-69

GRANK COUNTY, IN - Freezing rain caused I-69 and other state and U.S. highways to become slick, which created hazardous road conditions for motorists. The majority of the crashes and slide-offs troopers investigated occurred on I-69 in Grant County between 5:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. today.

 

Senior Trooper Kevin Miller (Redkey District) was investigating a crash northbound on I-69 at the 59 mile-marker in Grant County, when his patrol car was struck by another vehicle. Neither Miller nor the other driver was injured.

Errington named to National Honor Roll

Honored for work on women’s issues in Indiana

Muncie Native Artist on Extreme Makeover

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Muncie native Eric Ward put his talents to work on a recent episode of ABC’s television series, Extreme Makeover Home Edition set in Indianapolis. Ward was the airbrush artist in Courtney McFarland’s “executive” style bedroom. The 14-year-old boy hopes to become a businessman one day, and the bedroom was designed to inspire him to achieve his goals.

Several Arrested in Redkey District DUI Patrols

 

REDKEY, IN - Indiana State Police troopers from the Redkey District conducted DUI patrols during the evening hours of April 17th  and 18th , and early morning hours of April 18th and 19th within the Redkey District which includes Blackford, Delaware, Grant, Jay and Randolph Counties.

The Indiana State Police are committed to traffic safety, and will continue to conduct DUI checkpoints and saturation patrols for the remainder of 2009 to apprehend impaired drivers, and to deter others from drinking and driving.
