Madison County Federal Credit Union Breaks Ground on New Branch Office

ANDERSON, IN - Madison County Federal Credit Union (MCFCU) will break ground on a new branch office on June 4 at 11 a.m.  The new branch will be located at 2309 Charles Street in Anderson (directly in front of the WalMart shopping center).  Once completed, the new branch office will replace the MCFCU branch located at 53rd Street in Anderson.  The community is invited to attend this free event.

Retired Songwriter Inducted Into Hall Of Fame

ANDERSON, IN -
Songwriter Steve Wallace retired from the music business Jan.30, 2009
after 25 years. During his music career, Wallace, 38, wrote over
200 songs and has won numerous songwriting awards. He's managed to do all this while battling a
nerve disorder called 'Dystonia' -  which affects his muscles
and speech.

United Way Announces Open Certification Period

ANDERSON,
IN - United Way of Madison County has announced an open certification period May
1 through 4 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2009 for non profit health or human service
organizations serving Madison County. 
Agencies that receive certification may receive donor directed
designations through the annual United Way campaign and apply for program
funding from United Way.
